For 2011, Ducati released the 1100 EVO, a hyper-lightweight machine that’s designed to take whatever the conditions the rider has in mind.
After intense re-designs and refinements, the 2011 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO was ready to rule the streets with its lighter weight of 379 lbs. and 95 hp breathing from its 1100cc L-Twin Desmodue engine.
The bike retains the tapered section handlebars for ultimate control, and full-length seat designed for extreme riding. The engine’s narrow layout, which is no wider than a single cylinder, helps maintain a lean and agile profile.
The 1100cc Desmodue Evoluzione power unit uses a bore and stroke of 98 x 71.5mm, and its long list of refinements boosted its power to 95hp (69.9kW) @ 7500rpm with 76lb-ft (10.5kgm) of torque @ 5750rpm giving it outstanding power delivery, from grunting low rpms to the singing howl at redline.
Being air-cooled, the L-Twin also eliminates the need for water radiators, hoses, reservoirs and pumps, keeping the motorcycle’s weight down to a minimum and its lines clean and race-like.
Come into the garage today for a test ride.
This bike is Available for viewing in Waterloo, NSW Monday - Friday 8-5pm and Saturday 9-4pm.
